We started the same way many resellers do — sourcing, listing, and managing inventory the hard way. The tools that existed were too generic, too fragile, too expensive, or built by people who'd never had to photograph and list a haul from a three-hour run at the bins.

Our first tool was a capture-and-cataloguing system built for our own operation — a way to photograph, identify, and process inventory without the manual overhead. What came out of it was a set of capabilities useful well beyond one store.

Acine is what happens when you stop building for yourself and start building for the operators running the business. eBay and platforms like it offer a real way to make a living — for individual sellers, small operations, and teams running serious volume. Lowering the barriers and improving the workflows for those operators is why Acine exists.
